Manitowoc receives state grant to aid craft brewery project

NBC 26 - The City of Manitowoc has announced it is receiving a $250,000 state grant to help turn a century-old historic industrial building into a new location for the city’s first craft brewery and taproom.

According to a press release from the city, the Community Development Investment Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) will support PetSkull Brewing’s expansion, which will include converting the historic building into a 10-barrel brewhouse and restaurant.
